Art Major mare Angel Of Arts won six races and $100,600 and was runner-up in the Group One Australasian Breeders Crown as a 3yo.

 

On Thursday night at Penrith Lochinvar Magic, the first foal produced by Angel Of Arts, made his racetrack debut for trainer Kerryann Morris and driver Robert Morris.

 

Starting a $2.50 favourite, the Bettors Delight colt Lochinvar Magic impressed with a  comfortable five metre win over Mister Wells and Im No Gift rating 1:57.5 for the 1720 metres.

 

Lot 334 in the Nutrien Melbourne Yearling Sale on April 13 is a Captaintreacherous half-brother to Lochinvar Magic and is being offered for sale by Benstud & clients.

 

In addition to being a $100,000 earner herself Angel Of Arts is a half-sister to three other $100,000 earners including the Group Three 4yo Vicbred Platinum Championship winner Rockstar Angel which won 30 races and $438,053 and is now at stud in the USA.

 

Another half-sister to Angel Of Arts is another Group Three winner in Beach Shack which won the Victorian Tailamade Lombo on her way to earnings of $148,702.

 

The grand-dam of Lot 334 Arty Alice is a 3yo winning half-sister to legendary millionaire pacer Christian Cullen and to New Zealand 3yo Filly of the Year Kate’s First which retired to stud with 19 wins and $624,023 in stakes.
