At Menangle on Tuesday afternoon the 4yo Rock N Roll Heaven mare Our Angels Envy got rid of her maiden status with a smart win over Hesaa Lister and Robust Easton covering the mile in 1:53.8.
Driven by Will Rixon for trainer David Aiken, Our Angels Envy elevated her dam Eye Like Candy to 100% Producer status by giving her five winners from her five foals of racing age.
Eye Like Candy’s sixth foal is Lot 292 in the 2026 Nutrien Melbourne Yearling Sale on April 12 and is a full brother to Our Angels Envy being by Rock N Roll Heaven.
Her five winning foals include the New Zealand Show Day Futurity winner Jawbreaker which has won eight races and $106,700 and the 2yo Group Three Vicbred Platinum Home Grown Classic winner Krafty Candy which has won five races.
Eye Like Candy won nine races herself and is a half-sister six other winners.
Arivee, the grand dam of Lot 292, was placed in the Group Three Victorian Edgar Tatlow Stakes as a 2yo on her way to 13 wins.
She was one of ten winners produced by her dam which included Group Two NSW Mount Eden 4yo Championship winner Grand Stride $324,658 and the dam of four-time Group One winner Caribbean Blaster which won a total of 24 races and $1,113,677 in stakes.
