When the Rock N Roll Heaven colt Frizza won the 2yo race at Bathurst on Wednesday night for trainer/driver Anthony Frisby he gave his dam No Escape a winner with her only foal of racing age.
Frizza was having his first start and although a narrow winner he rated a handy 1:56.5 for the 1730 metres in downing Berocca Bernie and Rosies Dragon.
Lot 201 in the Nutrien Sydney Yearling Sale on March 9 is a half-sister to Frizza by Captain Crunch from the winning Roll With Joe mare No Escape and is being offered by Yirribee Pacing Stud.
Captain Crunch sired 22 Australian bred winners in his first crop in 2024 and he placed third on Australia’s First Season’s Sires List as those 22 individuals won 38 races which was more than any other sire.
Lot 201’s dam No Escape is a half-sister to the 2024 Bathurst Gold Crown heat winner Soho Fury.
The grand-dam of Lot 201 is a winning half-sister to seven other winners headed by a trio of $200,000 earners including Chariots Of Fire winner Villagem, 2yo Australian Gold winner Nostra Beach and Victoria Oaks winner Miss Graceland.
An unraced half-sister to that trio is the 2018 Australian Broodmare of the Year Pixel Perfect whose five $100,000 earners is headed by dual Group One winner and millionaire Soho Tribeca and 2018 Australian Aged Pacing Mare of the Year and sub 1:50 winner Carlas Pixel.
