Trained by Mark Watson and driven by Ellen Tormey, Like No Other becomes the third winner produced by the unraced Somebeachsomewhere mare Capoeira, who is now three-from-three with her foals of racing age.
Capoeira is also the dam of NSW Norms Daughter Stakes winner Bella Danza, a ten-time winner with earnings of $120,422. Her fifth foal will be offered by Alabar Bloodstock as Lot 274 at the Nutrien Melbourne Yearling Sale in April.
Lot 274 is a full sister to Like No Other and a three-quarter sister to Bella Danza.
Bettors Wish had his first crop race as two-year-olds in 2025 and made an immediate impact, producing two outstanding fillies in Western Australia: Wishing Belle (8 wins, $257,511) and Ma Petite Dame (2 wins, $82,819).
That pair played a major role in Bettors Wish securing the title of Leading First Crop Sire, with a crop of just 28 foals producing 13 starters, nine individual winners, 20 wins, and total earnings of $446,090. Average earnings per starter from the crop stand at $34,315.
Inspection of Lot 274 can be arranged by contacting Alabar Bloodstock on 0423 812 652.
