Pebble Beach – First of the First
Each year, strong interest surrounds the first yearlings by debutant stallions, as buyers look closely at both their physical type and how they will sell.
At the Nutrien Sunshine Stars Yearling Sale at Albion Park, Queensland, on 22 February, three yearlings by the exceptionally credentialled first-season sire Pebble Beach will be offered.
Pebble Beach won 17 races and amassing $1,720,875 in career earnings. His performances earned him 3YO Colt of the Year honours in both Canada and the United States.
Lot 3 – Colt
Vendor: Monarch Farm
The first Pebble Beach yearling to enter the ring will be Lot 3, a colt from the lightly raced American Ideal mare Ideally American.
Ideally American has already proven her value as a broodmare. Her first two foals were both two-year-old winners, while her third foal is a 2026 two-year-old by Stay Hungry.
Her first foal, More Sass, won three races at Albion Park as a two-year-old, including the Listed Australian Gold Bullion, before being sold to Western Australia. She added two further wins as a three-year-old and, last month, captured a $21,000 event at Gloucester Park as a four-year-old.
Her second foal, Mythical Dragon, won at Albion Park at two on December 9 and was placed at his next two starts at the same track later that month.

Lot 29 – Colt
Vendor: Burwood Stud (Agent)
The second Pebble Beach yearling to be offered is Lot 29, the first foal from the winning Rock N Roll Heaven mare Senora Jujon. A September-born colt, he is being presented by Burwood Stud as agent.
Senora Jujon is a half-sister to three winners, notably Bonnie Jujon, a multiple Group Two winner at two and three who recorded 13 wins and $120,154 before retiring to stud.
Bonnie Jujon has already made an outstanding start as a broodmare. Her first three foals are all winners, led by Majorita Jujon, a Queensland Triad placegetter at two and three with six wins and $96,819 in earnings.
Bonnie Jujon’s 2025 two-year-old Magic Jujon was one of the stars of last season, winning four of five starts and earning $90,373, highlighted by her victory in the Redcliffe Sales Classic.

The third Pebble Beach yearling at the Sunshine Stars Sale is Lot 65, a colt from the Fake Left mare Find Fake Cash.
Find Fake Cash was a winner at three and has been an exceptional producer. From 14 live foals of racing age, she is the dam of 13 winners, including three $100,000+ earners, with 11 recording a sub-2:00 mile.
