The D M Dilinger mare Aratusa Lass joined a select group of Australian broodmares that have produced 10 or more winners when her Art Major daughter Annie Crocker won at Globe Derby Park last Wednesday.

Aratusa Lass has produced her 10 winners from 10 foals of racing age and her 11th foal is a 2025 2yo full-sister to Annie Crocker.

A full-brother to Annie Crocker is the Group One winning 3yo Major Crocker which was recently retired in the USA as a 14yo with a career tally of 73 wins and $1,269,911.

A half-sister to Major Crocker is the listed NSW Country Series winner Innocent Crocker which won on 12 occasions and banked $106,636 for her connections and her Innocent Crocker’s second foal is Lot 158 in next month’s Nutrien Sydney Yearling Sale.

Lot 158 is a colt by Somebeachsomewhere and he is a full-brother to Spook Crocker which was placed once from five starts in 2024 as a 2yo.

A full-sister to Annie Crocker in Lisa Crocker is the dam of Lil Miss Crocker which has won four times and finished third in the Listed Southern Cross Stakes in November.
