Who can ever forget Fred Flintstone’s famous cry when he got into trouble.
The Father Patrick 3yo filly I Am Wilma brought up a hat-trick of wins when she took out her heat of the Breeders Crown at Bendigo last week beating Wind Chaser and Prohibited Grace for trainers Chris Lang and Sonia Mahar.
I Am Wilma had won a heat and the final of the Group One Vicbred Super Series at her previous two starts and this Saturday she will attempt to add the Group One final of the Breeders Crown to her string of wins.
Breeder Wayne Schulze will offer an Orlando Vici half-brother to I Am Wilma as Lot 319 in the 2026 Nutrien Melbourne Yearling Sale.
Aleppo Jewel, the dam of Lot 319 was runner-up in the 2yo Australasian Breeders Crown Final some years ago on her way to nine wins and $107,185 in stakes.
She is a half-sister to very smart trotters in Aleppo Sunrise (16 wins and $204,930) and Aleppo Midas (16 wins and $142,804). Aleppo Midas subsequently produced the Group One 3yo Need For Speed winner Alpha Male and dual Inter Dominion heat winner Timothy Red.
Orlando Vici is of course the sire of the legendary trotter Just Believe.
